You know the drill.. you sign up for a service that promises the best deal ever: 50% off if you sign up in the next 24 hours, plus you get a bonus this and a bonus that (none of which you’re ever going to actually use).. and then a few weeks pass by and you realize that despite all the shiny bells and whistles, it’s not really what you wanted.
You feel duped.
And maybe even a little bit silly.
(It’s not your fault, that’s what persuasion techniques are meant to do – persuade you into buying something you don’t really need.)
